About Wen Receipts
Wen Receipts is made by Joseph Ellul. It exists because “wen receipts” is a real question with no real answer: the call is public, the outcome is public, and nobody puts the two on one page. This site does that, the same way for everyone, and shows its working.
Why this site exists
Crypto Twitter runs on memory and has none. A call is made in public, the timeline moves, and six months later the only people who remember are the ones who lost money. The asymmetry is the problem: being right is unprovable and being wrong is deniable, so both are worthless. A ledger fixes that in one direction and the other at the same time, which is why an account that has been right has more to gain from it than we do, and why it has to be computed identically for the account that has not.
Who it is for
Someone deciding how seriously to take an account, who would rather read the posts and the prices than the replies.
An account holder who has been right in public and has nothing to link to.
An account holder who has been wrong in public and would rather the record was accurate than absent.
What it does not do
- It does not rank a person by anything except a score computed from their own posted record on the same window as everyone else's.
- It never lets money touch the ranking. A listing fee, a verified badge and a labelled sponsored slot are three separate things, and a test asserts that buying all three leaves the order byte-identical.
- It does not read a timeline nobody authorised. An unclaimed entry is a stub of a public record, and it says so on its own page.
- It publishes no judgement words. A row is “the largest move since a post naming this token”, never a “worst call”.
- It carries no affiliate link anywhere, on any page, for any token or exchange.
- It deletes what it derived when an account withdraws, and keeps only the fact that the page existed and was withdrawn.
